The Chamber is partnering with the State of Illinois Comptroller's office and their POWER initiative. Did you know that Illinois purchases more than $10 billion a year in goods and services? State agencies and universities seek bids from small and minority owned businesses like yours.

POWER: Providing Opportunities for Work through Education and Resources is built upon components that are designed to provide business owners with the tools and information they need to succeed.
- Offers business development workshops and private sector insights to enhance small and minority-owned businesses
- Provides ongoing communication, information and support to businesses as they compete for state contracts
- Counsels businesses on becoming certified as a small or minority-owned business and guides businesses through the procurement process
